Prototyp Göteborg 2023 was a major part of Gothenburg’s 400th anniversary celebrations. From June to September, the city turned into an open-air exhibition highlighting sustainable urban development and creative urban solutions. Along a pedestrian route from Frihamnen and Ringön to Centralen and Kronhuskvarteret, visitors encountered prototypes, installations, guided tours, workshops, and interactive activities. The event was built on broad collaboration between the city, local communities, academia and industry.
I contributed to the project by creating the illustrations for Prototyp Göteborg and one of them was featured on the cover of the book ‘Prototype! Building places together’.
